Umina Rookies attend Central Coast challenge
Umina Surf Life Saving Club Rookies attended the Central Coast Rookie Challenge held at Ocean Beach recently.
A team of six competed across a number of events, including: surf lifesaving trivia, signals communication competition, rescue relay, lifesaver relay, bodyboard relay and wade relay.
Other Umina Rookies supported other clubs by filling their teams,
Branch youth leadership program participants gave support with water safety and the work party.
The club also provided an official, plenty of supporters and a Rookie coordinator.
